Give away day - 3 of December. Sew, mama, sew



The famous site Sew, mama, sew  offered this Monday , 3 of December for a give away day.
Lately I designed some snowflakes. So My give away will be this pattern.
It is very easy to sew an hope you enjoy the Christmas.



To enter the giveaway, leave a comment telling me what kind of fabric you would like to use to make a Perfect Snowflake. Solid, printed, mixed, etc.

  1. Your fabric choices look perfect to me! I'd like small prints in green or blue, so that the snowflake appears to be falling in front of a landscape.

  2. Wow, I love paper piecing! Lots of possibilities for fabrics. I like the white bordering the snowflake, and I think I'd do bright colours inside it. Background, well, I'd be experimenting!

  3. I would use red for the white part and a red pattern for small area and a red and white snowflake fabric in my stash for the outside area

  5. I love the blues that you used. But I'd also like to try a snowflake in Dark Aqua/Teal in the center, then white snowflake, and lighter aqua around the snowflake. I'd use either batiks, or swirly fabrics - depending on what I could find. Thanks for a chance to win! :)

  6. I love the snowflake pattern! I would use a mix of prints, batiks and tone-on-tones and do a whole quilt of them - so each snowflake, of course, would have to have a different set of fabrics!

  10. I recently saw some shimmery blue fabric - i think I would use different tones of that.
    Just learned paper piecing and I really like it!

  11. I think I would use some tone on tone fabrics, blue mostly. Maybe a blue with some silver in it.

  20. I would use a silvery white for the snowflake against a midnight blue with small white flecks for the background to make it look like the snowflake was falling from the night sky. Thanks for the giveaway!

  25. I have 2 perfect fabrics for snowflakes. One is white with a silver fleck and another is white with a blue sparkly fleck.

  44. I'd use solid colours, but I'd make them in a mix of background colours (all with white snowflakes on them, though), so I had a flurry of snowflakes on different backgrounds. :-)
