  3. Love the balloon!!! I think being surrounded by family is important, and a special friend. And a yummy cake helps to soften the reminder of the 'getting older' reality part of a birthday!

  7. I'm a new follower and have tried to stop having birthdays....but, alas. They keep coming. I like a birthday party to be warm and fun with the person's favorite foods and lots of love.

  12. Greetings from northern Canada!!!! My kids would say it is the cake but I say the most important part is the company. The rest is just "icing on the cake" LOL.
